If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you have a fully functional blog up and running and you’re already getting people to read your articles?!
Well now it’s time to make some moolah!
Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. Don’t expect to quit your day job the second you add a few affiliate links or join an ads network. It takes time but you CAN monetise your website and there are NO limits to how much you can make if you get it right. And I’m going to teach you exactly how to do it right!
When I first started my blog, someone told me it would never earn me much money, it was a pipe dream. I would definitely never make a salary anywhere near what I was making as a doctor.
I informed them that I would report back in 1 year, I WOULD prove them wrong!
A year later, I smugly informed them that I was making $1500 every month. 7 months after that I told them that I’d made over $4000 in a month! And yes, some weeks, my blog was earning more than I could earn as a family doctor.
The passive income I was earning allowed me to dramatically cut my hours at work to focus on my own business.
I guess I proved them wrong…

Most people start making money on their blogs by writing sponsored articles. But usually this is poorly paid, takes up a lot of your precious time and may require some ethical dilemmas such as ‘should you accept payment for do-follow links?’ (Goggle may penalise you for this!)
For these reasons, I choose to make my income passively and I very rarely work with brands.
Passive income requires some work up front but the financial rewards will keep coming. Even when you are asleep, you may be earning money from the work you did last week, last month or even last year!

Ads are one of the easiest ways to make passive income but not always the most lucrative. You can place ads on your site from day one but unless you have decent traffic volumes, you’re not going to make a lot from it.
